So the results of the 30 day shred - yippeee
Firstly I was very proud of myself I stuck to this program for 30 days without days off, I reviewed all levels before. See post here Level 1 Level 2 & Level 3
I lost 1.4lbs which in theory if I was doing this program for weight-loss I would have been disappointed with, because that's nothing in weight-loss. However I did it for a change of routine and for toning up and that I did.
I lost a total of 5 inches all round, I lost 1.5 inches around my hips, 1 inch on my thighs, waist and 1.5 inches off my stomach.
Looking at my before and after pictures below you can definitely see more definition on my stomach. I am naturally a pear shape so those thighs and butt won't shift easily and not in 30 days anyway lool
I did the 30 day shred with my mum, she is bigger than I am and she has lost 6.9lbs thus far, she has decided to continue this for an ongoing period until she shifts all the weight she wants to loose.
I think If you're bigger and have more weight to loose, you can achieve that on this program, however smaller people can benefit also by toning up and tighten their bodies as-well. So I would recommend this for either body sizes as both will see results.
I have now started another Jillian Michael's DVD called - Banish fat boost metabolism, this is a 45 mins work out + 10 mins for a warm up and cool down. This one has a lot more challenging work outs on and I have been working up a proper sweat.
Again my aim is to just tighten up and I am using this as an additional workout program from the one I already do in the gym currently.
